Main Campus

The main campus at Divine Providence Village provides residential care to ninety-six women in a one-level complex. The facility includes six two-wing residential buildings in a family like setting. Each residential facility wing contains four two- bedroom units, and common kitchen, dining, recreation, and storage areas. Other structures that are on the main campus include a Chapel with separate Chaplin's quarters, a multipurpose building, a food service building, an administration building and a convent (which is tentatively slated for conversion to a building for residents with Alzheimer's dementia). The original construction was for an ambulatory population; all buildings are being adapted for residents who are wheelchair bound.

Interdisciplinary teams at the Village provide an array of services both on and off campus, including: 24-hour nursing care, medical and dental services, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, behavior therapy, direct care services, social services, activity services, program services, dietary services, housekeeping services, maintenance services and volunteer services.

Independent Living Apartment

One wing of a residential building at Divine Providence Village has been configured into an independent living apartment. Eight women live in this apartment. This program strives to teach the skills necessary to move out into supportive living. The individuals involved in this program are responsible for their shopping, cooking, cleaning, balancing personal budgets, obtaining jobs or volunteer work in the community.
